Jr. Manufacturing Engineer


Duties include but are not limited to the following

Prioritize activities and perform program management activities.

Lead and attend meetings related to projects.

Design and implement equipment, tools and fixtures used in the production process, and assure they meet all applicable internal and external safety requirements.

Participate in lean processes in order to improve plant layout, process flow, and labor efficiency while implementing safety standards.

Participate in warranty and cost reduction efforts.

Liaison between design engineering and manufacturing on new products and product changes.

Participate in vendor certification.

Makes an effort for continuous improvement to work processes for production and/or quality control

Responsible for following rules & regulations stated in the company handbook, notices & postings.

Responsible for following the written and verbal directions of leads, supervisor and management

Responsible for maintaining a safe and clean work environment as well as follow the Code of Safe Work Practices

Wiliness & ability to understand and adhere the company quality system  in work processes


AutoCAD (or similar design software) experience required.

Must be able to read pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical schematics.

Strong program management skills required

Strong root cause, corrective action and troubleshooting abilities preferred.

Candidate must be able to effectively communicate with all areas of the business in both verbal and written format

Bachelors Degree in Engineering and/or 5 years experience in manufacturing supporting both processes and procedures.
Candidate must have experience in handling multiple projects and utilizing resources to drive bottom line results.

Proficiency in English required

Proficiency in Spanish a plus.
