JOB OVERVIEW:
1.Procuring materials, equipment, and services.
2.Ensures contracts with suppliers and vendors are
consistent with corporate objectives.
3.Participates in major contract negotiations with top
suppliers to secure consistent supplies and competitive prices.
4.Providing support through the coordination of supplier
qualifications, data collection, data analysis/reporting and
corrective/preventative actions.
5.Coordinates and assists with the supplier
quality/process audits to support either the effectiveness of existing
suppliers or the qualification of new suppliers.
6.Track Purchasing activity and measurements as per
AS9100 Standard requirements.
7.Proficiency and experience with computerized made 2
manage (m2m) system is preferred.
Requirements:
4+years of hands-on procurement & sourcing experience
in a manufacturing company
Computer skills: MS Word, Outlook, & Excel.
Excellent written, verbal, negotiating, analytical &
interpersonal skills
Ability to initiate change & lead process improvement
projects
Decision-making, problem-solving, work well under
pressure
Organizing & prioritizing work
Multi-tasking, ability to adjust to changing priorities
and short deadlines
